Cookie-A-Thon is a FREE 2 day on-line cookie decorating tutorial event with the option to purchase extended access to watch and re-watch all of the tutorials. Cookie Artists who are members of The Colorful Cookie Club and sponsors of the event are the instructors. These Cookie Artists and sponsors are from around the globe.

There have already been four Cookie-A-Thon events. You can still view the tutorials from the first three in the Units of the Cookie-A-Thon Facebook group.

Anyone may attend Cookie-a-Thon from the comfort of their home. Most attendees are cookie decorators or are interested in learning to decorate cookies.

The first three events were totally free to attend. Spring Cookie-A-Thon 2021 is FREE to watch on each day of the event in the Cookie-A-Thon Facebook group.
For access to watch and re-watch the tutorials as many times as you like for as long as you like after the LIVE event, you have the option to join the private Spring Cookie-A-Thon 2021 Facebook group where everything is organized for easy viewing along with a downloadable PDF event schedule, supply lists and links, and sponsor coupon codes.

Nancy Westfall, the owner of The Colorful Cookie is the creator of Cookie-A-Thon and The Colorful Cookie Club. Cookie-A-Thon came about organically as Nancy wanted to showcase The Colorful Cookie Club member’s cookie decorating talents and help them gain more followers on social media. Many cookiers were requesting more FB LIVES and guest cookie artists to teach with Nancy during her Thursday Night FB LIVES in The Colorful Cookie Club (a private paid membership group for cookie stencil and cookie cutter designers). She asked for club members to volunteer to teach one of their favorite cookie decorating techniques during a Facebook LIVE. Many of them volunteered, enjoyed it very much, and that is how Cookie-A-Thon began. 

Since Cookie-a-Thon is a virtual, online event, you will register and make a one-time purchase. As soon as you register, you will immediately see a pop up message to let you know your purchase is complete. You will also see the link to join the Private Spring Cookie-A-Thon 2021 Facebook group immediately. Please click to join from that link. As a member of the private Facebook group, you will be able to download PDF files with the schedule of tutorials, a list and links to supplies for the tutorials in advance of the event. Beginning March 15, 2021 and as long as you remain a member of the group, you will be able to watch and re-watch all of the LIVE tutorials at your convenience. The tutorials will numbered and organized into Units for easy viewing.

Cookiers have the biggest hearts and are known for their generosity in sharing their talents! We call our instructors “Cookie Artists”. They volunteer their time, talent and expertise, get to make new cookie friends, and gain follows on social media. For some of them, Cookie-A-Thon is there first time to go LIVE.

Teaching opportunities are offered to members of The Colorful Cookie Club first. Once they have had the opportunity to sign up to teach, available time slots are offered to other cookiers from around the globe. All “Cookie Artists” provide their own materials, techniques, and supplies. It is a great way to teach in a supportive online environment from the comfort of your home. And it is so much fun to make new cookie friends from all over the world!
